Check out the intensity! Man, that cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Check out the intensity! Man, that cocaine is a hell of a drug.

  • The Democrats aren’t giving up the “Russian collusion” narrative without a fight – or at least, some high-pitched whining.  Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) blasted Attorney General William Barr, claiming Barr was “hired” to protect President Donald Trump, while Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) called Barr’s handling of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report concluding the President did not collude with any Russians “a charade.”  Desperation is a stinky cologne, boys.  But mad props to Cohen; I didn’t know he could spell “charade.”

  • The Jussie Smollett disgrace just won’t end.  The actor, who found himself in the middle of a firestorm of controversy after *allegedly* constructing a massive hate crime hoax in a bizarre effort to boost his salary for the tv show “Empire,” appears to have gotten quite a boost from his friends in high places.  Text messages have surfaced between an unidentified member of Smollett’s entourage, former Michelle Obama Chief of Staff Tina Tchen, and Chicago State’s Attorney Kim Foxx in which the three discussed killing the case against Smollett.  Welp, it took 2 years and $35 million, but we finally found the collusion everyone was so hyped about.

  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn’t taking the death of her “green new deal” lying down.  The rising star in the liberal sky angrily skipped House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s presser introducing the “Climate Action Now Act,” and then threw an epic tantrum on the House floor, shrieking angrily at critics who mocked her elitist ecological pipe dream.  Did Chiquita Khrushchev have a sad? Doesn’t look like Nancy cares much.

  • The Democrats’ dreams are still alive, at least in their own heads.  The new talking point after the Senate nuked the “Green New Deal,” 57-0? That the Democrats “outmaneuvered” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) when he called for the vote in which they all voted either “present” or “no” on AOC’s insane eco-communist power grab.  “Outmaneuvered?”  That’s not how you spell “caught a beatdown from.”

  • The Democrats’ top contender, former Vice President Joe Biden, did a little reminiscing Wednesday, telling the audience at his own awards ceremony that he feels badly about the way Anita Hill was treated by a “bunch of white guys” during the Democrats 1991 attempt to stop the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in what the African-American Thomas called a “high-tech lynching.”  Biden, who was one of the lead noose-bearers, lamented his behavior towards Hill and opined the “white man’s culture” must change. He remains unrepentant about their treatment of Thomas, however.

  • South Bend, Indiana mayor and Democratic Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is working hard to boost his profile in a crowded Democrat field, and his methods are – well – humorous.  The little-known liberal declared “Don’t let anybody tell you that the other side is the side that’s got a handle on freedom. We are the party of freedom and we shouldn’t be afraid to go out there and say it.”  Sure, Petey.  Except for free speech, firearm ownership, choosing your own healthcare, infants' right to not get murdered in the womb, and keeping your own money. But other than that, you guys are totes about the freedom!

  • Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is outraged – OUTRAGED, I TELL YOU – that the White House sent out a mass memo to the media in which they identified a number of liberals who made now-debunked statements about potential electoral collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia.  According to Swalwell, who once threatened to use nuclear weapons to disarm law-abiding Americans, “First they came for the journalists. Then they came for the elected officials expressing legitimate concerns about justice in our country and attacks upon our democracy. Who's next?”  According to you Nuke-boy, the gun owners.
